Last weekend I and my boys went to see the screening of the movie “Brave” at Disney’s El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. We were excited to see this movie and my boys had been anticipating its’ release since the previews started coming out.
Based in Scotland this movie is sweet and charming with a great cast of characters. Merida is the main character with bright vibrant red hair and vibrant personality to match. She is an independent thinker with a mind of her own. Her parents Queen Elinor and King Fergus have plans for her and hope to marry her off to one of the princes of the surrounding kingdoms. Merida who will not be married off tries to sabotage the plans with disastrous and surprising results.
This movie’s plot took all of us by surprise as the previews really gave nothing away. We laughed through the hilarious scenes and got teary eyed during the emotional ones. This is a great movie to take your kids to see. Highly entertaining for everyone young and old.
