Last week a friend and I got to see a special advanced screening of What to Expect When Your Expecting at the Landmark theater in L.A. The movie is named after a perennial New York Times bestseller a that has been around for years. It carried me through 3 pregnancies and was my go to reference for looking up questions I had regarding pregnancy.
The film was full of good laughs and covered many different angles of what you could expect when your expecting. As seen in the film, all pregnant moms don’t fall into the same category. Some moms are have easy pregnancies and others not so much. This fun filled movie showed different aspects of pregnancy through the different characters that were portrayed in a laugh out loud and sometimes sad and sentimental way.
Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Banks, Chace Crawford, Brooklyn Decker, Anna Kendrick, Matthew Morrison, Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock, Rodrigo Santoro, Ben Falcone and Joe Manganiello all starred in this film. It was great to see such a multitude of talent in one film. This film never had a dull moment. It kept my interest from start to finish.
You will laugh, cry and understand why I recommended going to see this movie this weekend.
