Budget Friendly Bodycology Products are an Affordable Indulgence

By Trish Deitemyer

“Comforting” is probably not a word you would use to describe your hand soap. “Cleansing”, maybe; “antibacterial”, sure. But “comforting”? Well, Bodycology, who generously sent me a sample of its Brown Sugar Vanilla Anti-Bacterial Scrubbing Hand Soap (about 5.49), has somehow fused all of those attributes, and more, into one bottle. Yes, it’s cleansing and antibacterial, but the brown sugar and vanilla scent is so warm and comforting, it actually reminds you of cozy winter nights, baking cookies and snuggling by the fire. A bottle of this soap in a pretty basket with a fluffy hand towel would make a great hostess gift during the holiday season.
I also tried Bodycology’s slightly exotic Cherry Blossom Body Cream. This is an extraordinarily rich cream whose scent, though light, is flowery an slightly sweet – just like real Cherry Blossoms! With Aloe, Shea Butter and Vitamins E & C, it luxuriously softens your skin, and keeps it soft all day long. Friends have told me it’s a dead ringer for (the much more expensive) bath and Body Work’s Cherry Blossom Triple Moisture Body Cream. And it’s a bargain at about 5.49 because it’s so rich; you only need a tiny bit. The 8 oz. tube seems to last forever!
Bodycology’s products are available at mass merchandisers, like Walmart; most major drugstore chains; many major grocery stores and online at Drugstore.com.
