Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer DVD Game by Screenlife
by Trish Deitemyer
My family loves Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. We gather to watch it every year, and we all shout out lines from the show (“I’m cute! I’m cute! She said I’m cuuuute!”) and sing along (“There’s always tomorrow…”) So when we were offered a chance to review the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer DVD Game, I jumped at the chance. And when Santa (okay—the UPS Man) dropped it off, we couldn’t wait to play it.
Here’s the story: A terrible winter storm has scattered toys all over the North Pole, and Santa needs your help to find them. 2 to 4 players (6 years and older) will enjoy playing with both the board and the DVD to return each Misfit toy in time for Christmas Eve. Hurry, though–Bumble, the (adorable) Abominable Snow Monster, wants the toys. It’s so fun to see clips from the original footage from the 60’s as they race against time to solve puzzles and collect the toys.
This easy to learn game is much like the Scene-it game series. It contains a DVD, Game Board, 4 Collectible Figurines/ Movers, 11 Mis-fit Toy Tokens, 8 Yukon Cornelius Tokens, 1 Six-Sided die and Instructions. Of course, a DVD player and remote and TV are required to play.
I can see this game becoming a family holiday event, maybe before or right after the annual airing of the movie. Add some popcorn and hot chocolate and it’s a tradition. As Yukon Cornelius would say, “Wahoooo!”
*Giveaway*
One winner will receive a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer the DVD Game ($20 Value)

My favorite Christmas memory is when we traveled to Mexico 9 years ago and spent 2 weeks donating our time and hardwork to help the poor people who lived in a remote area in Mexico. We helped fix up their homes, drill a well for fresh water and other things that the little village needed done. Christmas is about giving and this memory was exactly that.
