Become an astronaut and save the universe in this fun and lively game from Scholastic Media. I Spy Universe is geared toward elementary age children and will have them put their item finding skills to the test with the many rhyming puzzles and mini-games throughout this game.
My 5 year old and 10 year old sons both enjoyed this game and loved trying to solve each puzzle as they traveled to different planets in a spaceship, unlocking more and more planets with each puzzle they solved. The overall goal of the game was to save the Universe. Each puzzle solved unlocked a new special item to help you win the game.
There are tons of items to find and my 10 year found the game to be medium challenging. Because the list of items to find are spoken as well as well as written my 5 year old had a chance to find the items as well. Of course this game is a little more challenging for my 5 year old than it is for my 10 year old, but they both had a great time trying to find the items.
The graphics are clear and realistic looking and overall the game play was great fun and I loved the fact that this game has an educational value as well as being entertaining.
This game is suitable for ages 5 and up and is priced at $19.99 and available at Amazon.com
