1. How to Get a Great Day to Evening Look

Daytime look can be minimal with mascara and lighter color liquid lipstick like Venus, also natural colors in general. To transition to night time look, you can go heavier on the lips, for example with our Helen – Liquid Lipstick and apply with our Vegan and cruelty free brush set some darker eyeshadow colors, as well as richer blush, that should do the trick!
 

2. Feel Empowered and Confident 

Lips and Eyes are always the mirror to your soul, if you feel like you want to make a confident statement, wear bright and vibrant lip colors like Aphrodite Liquid Lipstick or a more vibrant color like Helen Liquid Lipstick. Always wear Mascara and have your Eyebrows on fleek, nothing speaks more empowerment than that!
 

3. How Often Should You Touch Up Your Makeup?

You can touch up your makeup on occasion, no more then 2 times a day maybe, say if you are at your office or workplace maybe around lunch is always good, because you are halfway through work, then for dinner freshen up and apply even a little more daring colors for your night time look. Primers are very important if you are working in the entertainment industry, it keeps makeup fresh longer. If you have to look your best for a long time and need to even out your skin, get a primer, we recommend tinted primers, they help cover up uneven or irritated skin. When you reach your 40+ it is always best to actually go lighter on colors, as they don’t look too harsh on us anymore. Also less is more, so yes to minimal looks in general, not only for 40 and up.
 

4.  Look Your Best After 40

When you reach 40, Nudes, Coral, light Berry colors make us look younger. Make sure you have a good Foundation, Eyes should be highlighted in fresh colors. It makes the eye look awake and bright, very soft. Lips can be depending on the occasion, lighter in the day, like a lighter pink or nude for daytime, then you can go bold with red or Bordeaux in the night like our Berry color Helen Liquid Lipstick. Make sure any make up you use has a soft or velvet feel. It usually shows on your face and complements you.
