I’m always looking for new ways to eat healthier weather it’s picking up more greens at the grocery store or skipping the cookie and chip aisle. One thing that I’ve been trying to be more aware of is the amount of salt or sodium there is in my food. Many times a dish just needs a little extra something, but adding salt is not a healthy option. Outerspice has a great selection of healthy ground herbs that can be used in place of salt. I was sent Outerspice Original Himalayan Sea Salt to try out. I use this to add extra seasoning to chicken. I was happy with the taste and the flavor it brought to my meals.
Outer Spice Low Salt and No Salt seasoning blends are made from the finest, quality ingredients that we hand select ourselves from around the world. Our products are all-natural, Gluten-free, rich in anti-oxidants and have no MSG. These four highly versatile, well balanced spice mixes will transform and improve the taste of every dish. Find your favorite, use as-is, or add to it and make it your own.
I eat plenty of veggies daily and drink lots of water. I have also gone gluten-free.

I try to keep plenty of fruit and vegetables in the house. Sure, we eat the bad stuff, too, occasionally, but we make smarter choices more often if the better options are there.
we have started our own vegetable garden and buy from a local farmer’s market for things we do not have and try to buy organic meat.
I have cut most fried foods from my diet, eat baked instead, cook with lots of fresh herbs and grow and dry my own, and finally drink more 1or 2 % milk instead of whole milk to reduce calories and still be healthy
