During the month of February my family and I received a beautifully packaged chocolate heart from Zchocolat. This package was shipped directly from France where this chocolate was artistically created.
This exquisite chocolate shaped heart was beautifully contained inside a black velvet bag that had a personalized note card with a small brochure of zchocolat tucked inside it’s pouch.
Inside the black velvet pouch was a gorgeous mahogany wooden box with two hearts etched on the top and a engraved name plate that had my name on it! How cool is that!
The chocolate heart was nestled inside the wooden box. It truly looked like a piece of art, too beautiful to eat. However, we did want to see if this piece of art tasted as good as it looked. So I got a butter knife and was surprised at how easily the chocolate was to cut. This voluptuous heart was made with half a pound of chocolate. The 4-inch wide heart praline was studded with roasted caramelized Piedmont hazelnuts
The hazelnut creamy center with the chocolate shell on the outside made this heart a delectable treat to share with my family. Even my 5 year old who has a peanut allergy could share in the fun of eating this scrumptious treat.
