Mint Green with Envy Review
I received Green Goo’s travel kit filled with small tubs of Green Goo for skin repair, first aid and dry skin. Also included were 2 lip balms in Cool Mint and Citrus Zest. I’ve used the product on my dry skin and chapped lips and felt and instant cooling and moisturizing on my hands and lips. This is a great little kit to take with you while your on the go and would make a perfect stocking stuffer gift this holiday season!

I suffer from a weird eczema – I’ve always had eczema, but when I broke my ankle, the stress caused my body to react all crazy and now, five years later, I have a couple ‘hot spots’….I try to keep my skin moisturized with coconut oil, but it absorbs and I find I need to keep applying it to keep the eczema at bay. When I have a hot spot flare up, the ONLY thing that tames it and eventually makes it go away is, I use coconut oil and then follow it up with either vaseline or baby oil-after years of experimenting, this is the only thing that truly works so in the winter time I try to ward off any hot spot flare ups by just doing a full body coconut oil rub followed up with either vaseline or baby oil to seal it in and it seems to keep the dry, itchy skin at bay as well 🙂

I combat dry skin by hydrating often!
I avoid using hand sanitizer with alcohol, and use lotion after washing my hands and before bed.
I try to stay hydrated, and I use a good moisturizer for day, and another for night.
I put on lots and lots of lotion as soon as I get out of the shower.
I combat dry skin during the winter months by using a lot of moisturizer and body washes which help keep skin smooth.

I truly do have to battle dry skin. Not only is it “naturally” dry, I have Lupus so it adds another layer of awfulness. In the winter I try to make sure that I drink a lot of water and I keep a humidifier going 24/7 whenever the heat is running.
