Exergen Smart Glow Temporal Scanner Review

Exergen-TemporalArtTh#5CDDC

Flu season is definitely here. It seems everyone I know is having a bout of the flu or cold. My 3 kids just recently got over flu symptoms and I am happy they are back to good health again. During times like these it’s nice to have the easiest tools possible to make this already hectic time go more smoothly. Exergen Smart Glow Temporal Scanner does just that.

What makes it one of the easiest ways to take a temperature?

· A softly illuminated display for easy reading in any light – perfect for checking the temperature of a sleeping infant in a darkened room

· Beeping sound indicating scanning can be turned off or on to avoid waking a sleeping child

· Automatically retains the last eight temperature readings for instant recall to check on fever progression

· Ability to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius modes

The Temporal Artery Thermometer uses infrared technology to scan the heat on your forehead that comes from your temporal artery.  I used this on my kiddos while they were sick and they seemed liked it better than the ear or mouth thermometers.

You can buy the Temporal Artery Thermometer at Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Costco, Babies “R” Us, Toys “R” Us, Kroger and BJ’s, the Smart Glow thermometer’s suggested retail price is $49.99.
