I tried Nielsen-Massey Vanilla Sugar in a homemade chocolate recipe and it was delicious! It was so easy that my 6 year old daughter helped me make it and all of my kids loved the finished result.
Here is the Homemade Chocolate Recipe:
- 5 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil
- 5 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 to 2 tablespoons of Neilsen-Massey Vanilla Sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
Mix all ingredients together and place either in a mold or a tray and then refrigerate for at least 1 hour and tada- Yummy Chocolates – That aren’t too bad for your eating plan either. As long as your not eating the whole tray in one sitting that is!

Creme brulee was already mentioned, but it was the first thing that came to mind for me. It would be even delicious than just plain sugar on top.
Well, I know one thing for sure- I would never waste this on a body scrub! LOL (hate them- that oil in my tub or shower? Yuck, hard to clean!) Anyway, I would use this up and up it up rather quickly in baking. Baking Baking… we bake a lot here.
Ha! Great minds or something; I was thinking crème brûlée…then fudge! But I also think it would be nice in the topping for a coffee cake. Mmmm…the possibilities are endless and delicious!
