The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum, Scottish-born singer-songwriter KT Tunstall has just released a new album called “Tiger Suit”. “Tiger Suit” was released October 5th and her rollicking first single “Fade Like A Shadow” is already a Top 20 hit at radio.
You may remember KT from her other smashing hits “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree,” “Suddenly I See,” Other Side of the World” or “Hold On”. I know I had the “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” playing in my head for months. My 5 year old son was just a baby when the song was popular on the radio and it was always one of his favorites. He would sing along with the “WooHoo” part everytime.
I was very happy to review KT Tunstall’s new album “Tiger Suit” and have been enjoying listening to it for the past week. I love her voice that is so deep toned and rustic sounding.
The music of her new album is very easy to listen to and the music is catchy and fun to chill out to.
KT say of her new album “I really went out of my comfort zone and wandered off further than expected,” she says, “and it made me realise I can do anything. There are no rules, there are no constraints, it’s just about what you’ve got the balls to do.”

“How To Make A Tiger Suit” Synopsis
“How To Make A Tiger Suit” is a record of a record. An honest and revealing film about KT Tunstall’s journey, both geographic and personal – to create her third album.
From Scotland to London; California to Berlin – director Rupert Style follows KT as she explores this exciting new terrain. Musical borders are crossed too – in KT’s own words “Leftfield via Eddie Cochran”.
The end result is a humorous and entertaining film – that mixes exclusive live performance, intimate studio footage and beautiful animation. We learn the origins of ‘Tiger Suit’ and its collaborators, witness some challenging footwear choices and even take in a short film about cowboys along the way.
“How To Make A Tiger Suit” is essentially a fly on the wall look at one of the greatest female artists of a generation and a rare insight into the world she inhabits.
