I just signed up for this free online chore chart service called “my job chart” that lets you manage your children’s chores online. I love the easy to use features on this website. I created a profile for my 9 year old son. It was so simple to just click the chores that were already listed on the website and add them to his profile. The also allowed me to create my own custom fields.
Another great feature is the reward system. Because you create points for each chore you give your child, you can also create points for redeemable rewards. I clicked to add rewards such as going out to eat, getting an ice cream cone, TV time, and computer time. I love that they already have many reward options for you to choose from, but also allow you to create your own.
I showed this website to my 9 year old son and explained to him how it works. He is so excited to use this system. He immediately went to clean up his room, make his bed and put away his clothes. He loves being able to check off what he has completed and look to see how many more points he will need until he can receive the reward he wants.
